Thank you for visiting our website. We are excited to share with you the wonderful things that God has done and continues to do through Hesed Ministries Uganda.

Founded by Michael and Florence Kyomya in 1995, the ministry’s objective is to be a catalyst for spiritual renewal and growth in the Anglican Church of Uganda. Whether conducting a women’s workshop, teaching about marriage and family life, conducting Bible and leadership training, or leading a community development project, the primary focus of Hesed Ministries is to share the Gospel. That they may have eternal life; that they may know Him, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom He sent – this is our focus.

Busoga, the region served by Hesed Ministries, has a population of approximately 2.7 million people, according to the national census of 2002. It’s land size is approximately 4,000 sq. miles (which is about same size as Delaware and Rhode Island combined).

Areas of ministry include:
· Evangelistic outreach
· Discipleship of new believers
· Establishing prayer cell groups
· Community development through a women’s program
· Pastoral and leadership training
· Use of traditional music, theatre and dance to convey messages about Christian life
