The Anglican Church in Uganda is an enormous mission field in and of itself because most of its membership does not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. 

• This is largely due to the emphasis that early missionaries put on good works as opposed to focusing on salvation by faith in Jesus Christ.  

• In recent years, evangelical Christians in Uganda have began independent churches of their own.  Even so, the majority of Ugandans are found within the Anglican Church. 

• As such, Hesed Ministries’ primary goal is to reach the Anglican Church in Uganda’s Busoga region for Christ through evangelistic outreach and discipleship.
